A free tool that helps homeschool parents narrow a long list of math programs to the few that fit their child.
There are dozens of homeschool math programs, and most advice boils down to "it depends." Homeschool Shortlist turns "it depends" into a short set of questions: your child's grade, how they do with math, how they learn, how much you want to teach, and your budget. Then it shows which programs fit, why, and where each one's placement test is.
31 core math programs and 7 supplements, chosen from what parents actually discuss: Reddit discussions and 16 published curriculum roundups, plus programs from Christian publishers that online forums tend to undercount.
Rankings follow published rules, and every program profile cites its sources. No publisher can pay for placement. See our disclosure for how the site may earn money.
Math is our first subject. Reading and phonics, language arts, science, history, Bible and religious studies, and all-in-one curricula are planned next.
