Parents like the low-prep, app-plus-mailbox format: videos, games and songs do most of the teaching, and workbooks arrive on their own schedule. When it clicks, families say it's worth the price; when a child loses interest or packages arrive late, reviewers say the subscription cost stops feeling worth it.
Parents consistently point to the Orton-Gillingham method and full scripting as reasons a struggling or anxious reader finally clicks with this program. The trade-off shows up just as often: it asks for real one-on-one time every day, and the upfront cost for a full set of levels adds up.
